Description:
Longs Peak is the most popular peak in Colorado and happens to be very unique. Not only does it dominate northern Colorado’s landscape but also it is the tallest in Rocky Mountain National Park. It also happens to be the only Fourteener in a national park and therefore requires a permit if you take more than one day to climb it. Its upper east face is truly a breathtaking site. It popularity grew increasingly after it was discovered and still attracts thousands of people per year. |
